The solar company was in town last week

Has anything changed? It still looks like landowners still have not renew their leases.  We expected the solar company: made excuses of where they have been, introduced new ideas to get them excited, followed up with more empty promises to get them to renew their leases.   BEWARE that these landowners potentially will be signing away their land rights and will have no access or say what goes on behind the fence of their land they leased for the next 40 YEARS.  

What will happen next:

Buy more advertising to gain more support for the solar project!  BEWARE that numbers used in this advertising are not from an independent study.  The numbers generated are from a company they hired to use data they provided.  Demand an independent job loss impact study over the next 40 years due to this solar project.

Buy more influence!  Watch to see if the solar company is going to throw more money around in yearly payments to potentially the:  school,  fire department, landowners, county, township, sponsorships and giveaways.  BEWARE that if this project is so great, why do they have to buy influence?  

Targeting you!   Be expecting more phone surveys with slanted questions towards only their agenda!  BEWARE that the questions do not give you the full picture and you can only give yes or no answers 

Targeting our representatives!  These solar salesmen will be using all this data, promises of money generated, bought influence, promises of jobs to convince our representatives to pave the road for them to come in.  BEWARE that if we don’t contact them and let them know where you stand that our reps may actually start to pave the road and make it easier for them to come in.
