Some industrial scale solar companies state that their substation transformers can emit 43 dBA up to an overall sound power of 99 dBA and residences could be as close as 300 feet away.

Matthew Smith in NY "When the sun shines, the solar whines!" Listen to video here "Not a very pleasant sound when you bought a home for country quiet. This is what you have to look forward to if they install solar next to your home. Solar company says this is normal operation. I asked them to do sound remediation. They said they would do some sound studies. We’ll see what they actually do. It is 24 / 7 days a week and only stops if the sun is not shining."

Construction noise could be up to 18 month to 2 years
Some industrial scale solar companies state they will restrict construction activities to the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM. If there are no restrictions put on them, it could be later.
