The solar companies are very good at how they word or describe their narrative. This is how they perceive their project for North Beaver Township:
>a proposed solar project located in North Beaver Township, PA that will provide around 200 MW of clean, homegrown power to the state’s grid. - Translate that into - A 200 MW industrial power plant placed on tillable, useable agriculture land in North Beaver Township. Not to be used locally but sent out to the state's power grid. No mention of the acres of land that will be taken out of commission. I never saw a homegrown solar panel.
The solar company, media and government spout how great this will be. How much money and the jobs this will create in the community. But they fail to tell you the rest of the story, like how much fossil fuels are used to create, transport and build these solar fields let alone what will happen as new technology makes the current industrial solar fields outdated . No mention that the jobs these create will only be temporary.
The solar company says they will comply with what the government requires, but they don't state that it is cheaper to throw the panels into the land fills than it is to recycle. What else are they failing to tell us?
We are telling you that there is a Boogey Man out there offering riches that will destroy our land, while the media and government are trying to tell us how wonderful this will be for our environment.
